Kepler Tate in the gown in July of 2006
On Sunday, Dax was one of the eleven babies at our church who participated in the parent and baby dedication day. As a parent there is no one thing greater to me than the salvation of my children. We are reminded that we can do our best in raising him and showing God to him everyday through our lives but it is ultimately God who calls his own to him. Kevin and I both pray that Dax and Kepler know God early in their lives and want to follow him daily and also that we will be good models - every day - of Christians.
This gown, my Aunt Pam made for her granddaughter Vivi, was worn by Kep when he was baptised at the presbyterian church in MS and now by Dax at the baptist church where we are members now. It will be passed down in the family! She puts their names and dates on the gown as they wear it! What a wonderful family tradition and heirloom.
I had a couple of people at church who don't see him with us every Sunday say "Oh, she's so pretty" HA!
